Ramses was a German progressive rock band from the 70s, similar to Eloy, Grobschnitt, and Novalis. La Leyla and Eternity Rise are two of their albums. La Leyla features symphonic prog with beautiful guitar solos, dreamy vocals, and powerful Hammond organ. Eternity Rise is a mix of art rock and krautrock, and is considered their most convincing album. Unfortunately, the band experienced lineup changes throughout their career. The original vocalist left after Eternity Rise, causing a three-year hiatus.
